make-up monday: summer peach

as i mentioned last week, i have been loving warm golds, peach, and bronze hues in my wardrobe and on my face. i've been wearing variations of this makeup look for the past few weeks, it's so easy and perfectly wearable for the warmer summer weather that is on it's way!

products i used:
[obviously you can use other products you have that are similar!]
  • gariner bb cream in light/medium for oily/combo skin
  • laura mercier mineral powder in tender rose
  • elf flat top powder brush
  • milani brow fix kit in light
  • small angled brush & spoolie
  • rimmel natural bronzer
  • elf small tapered brush [great for contouring!]
  • milani baked blush in luminoso [obsessing with this!]
  • elf blush brush
  • l'oreal 24hr infallible eyeshadow in amber rush
  • 'limit' matte eyeshadow from the urban decay naked 3 palette
  • covergirl lash blast mascara in black
  • revlon just bitten kissable balm stain in rendezvous
  • optional: i added the highlight shade from the brow kit to my brow bone and inner corners
let's begin!

1 // applied bb cream all over my face. i simply used my fingers, but get fancy and use a brush or beauty blender if you want!

2 // applied laura mericer mineral powder all over with flat top powder brush [this is the best combo ever and recommend it to everyone!!]

4 // bronzed & contoured with the rimmel natural bronzer & my small tapered brush, just to give a little color but not all over my face.

5 // my favorite part, blush! this milani blush in luminoso is my absolute favorite right now.
i now understand the hype about it in the beauty community!

6 // next i applied the l'oreal 24hr eyeshadow in amber rush all over my lids. then added 'limit' from the naked 3 palette to blend the edges and add a little definition. you could use 'trick' from the palette for the lid color too, i'm just trying to use up product i found in the depths of my makeup drawer!

7 // no eyeliner today, just lots of black mascara! i've recently gone back to tried & true lash blast, it just works! [optional: add a highlight to your inner corners & brown bone, i used the one from the brow kit.]

8 // to finish off, i chose to bust out one of my old summer favorites, the revlon kissable balm stain in rendezvous! i love the way this color brings out the orangey tones in the blush and eyeshadow. plus it's more wearable than a red lipstick for summer and keeps my lips hydrated.

...and that's it! super simple, minimal products [for some, maybe makeup junkies anyway ;)] and perfect for summer. you can swap out your preferred foundations/bronzers/mascaras/whatevers, these are just what i'm loving and using daily! i especially love the minimal eye makeup and lips, they are low maintenance but make it look like you spent a lot more time getting ready.

this look would look amazing on blue eyes, but it flatters any eye color and skin tone! i hope you give it a try! if you do, tag @feelandflourish on instagram or use our hashtag #feelandflourish so we can find you! ++ let me know what are some good 'dupes' for the products i used here, i love learning about and trying new things!

  2. I just started using the Laura Mercier because my other mineral powder ran out, and I read previously that you loved it. So glad I tried it! It's super lightweight and blends really well. Thanks!
