kaitlin's 25th birthday party [ ft. @bonbonrentals! ]

I'm 25! I can't believe it. I know it's not old, but I also don't feel so young anymore. I feel like many of my life goals I made for myself are to be accomplished between the ages of 25-30. and now I only have 5 years to accomplish them! but I know life doesn't work that way, and everything happens in perfect timing that is not my own :)

this year I was completely blessed by everyone in my life, from my closest friends and family, to all my internet friends here and on Instagram, I feel so thankful for so many birthday wishes and so much love! seriously, thank you from the bottom of my heart. most of all, I want to share one of the biggest blessings of all, which is the most gorgeous birthday party I have ever had, thanks to some very special people!

if you know me, you'll know I hate planning, especially for myself. because of this, I haven't had a birthday party since I turned 12. seriously. luckily, upon knowing this, a few of my closest friends [who I basically consider family] insisted on throwing me my 25th birthday party. being the amazing and talented bunch they are, I had to agree because I knew it would be pretty darn special.

her business's name is BonBon Vintage Rentals, [@bonbonrentals] but she goes by Nazra Knutsen. she is one of the most talented and inspiring people I have ever known, and I am in awe of the way she can create such gorgeousness out of [literally] anything. she started her business as an outlet for her passion of creating pretty things and using her knack for thrifting vintage to put on parties for herself and others! while taking on her dream, she's a wife and a mommy to 2 beautiful little girls. this wonder-woman is responsible for everything you will see on this post, along with the help of her sister [Naomi], husband [Ronny], and brother [Lonnie], and I couldn't be more thankful!

so many flowers! flower crown cake, wild flowers all over the tables, plus stunning hand-made dream catchers!

my favorite desserts... ice cream & cookies! a perfect ice cream sandwich bar.

the table scape was to die for! tea lights & candles everywhere, wildflowers in vintage jars & glasses, & beautiful dainty doilies & lace.

the cozy outside sitting area looked straight out of an Anthropologie catalogue, complete with vintage blankets, quilts, twinkly lights, more candles, & of course a fire pit!

I am still simply in awe of the magical night she and my friends created for me. I've never felt so special and it was truly the most perfect night!
