simple smoothie recipe (thats vegan + paleo friendly)
with the 100 degree heat wave, smoothies have been a life saver with keeping cool.
i have found myself making them almost everyday & trying new recipes. i wanted to share with you all
a very simple smoothie recipe that is easy to make & filled with nutrition that your body is craving.
what you need:
chocolate almond breeze,
strawberries (i used 6 small strawberries),
1 banana,
& two tablespoons of chia seeds.
the night before (or 3-4 hours before making the smoothie) pour in the desired amount of almond milk & stir in the 2 tablespoons of chia seeds & let it set.
pour the almond & chia mix into your smoothie container (i use a magic bullet)
next, add the strawberries & banana's
blend & enjoy! i love this smoothie because its a great meal replacement. if you want to skip the chocolate almond milk, coconut water is a great replacement!
